Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, and to provide information to the owners of the site. Some similar technologies — such as localStorage, which stores small amounts of data in your browser — are used for the same purposes.
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies TeachReady AI uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
These cookies are required for the platform to function. They are set by Clerk, our authentication provider, so that you can sign in and stay signed in:
Without these cookies you cannot sign in or use the classroom, so they cannot be disabled. They do not track you across other websites.
teachready_cookie_consent (stored in your browser's localStorage) — remembers your cookie preferences so we don't ask you again on every visit, and so any future non-essential technologies only activate if you consent. This preference stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
None currently active. We do not currently use any analytics, tracking, or measurement cookies or scripts. If we introduce analytics in the future, they will only activate with your consent, and this policy will be updated before they do.
None currently active. We do not currently use marketing or advertising pixels (including Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel). If we activate any in the future, they will only run with your consent, and this policy will be updated first.
Clerk (our authentication provider) may set its own session cookies on your device when you sign in, as described in Section 2 above. Clerk processes this data under its own privacy policy, available at clerk.com/privacy.
We do not use advertising networks, social media pixels, or third-party tracking cookies on this site today.
You can review or change your cookie preferences at any time by opening the preferences panel:
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies entirely. Please note that blocking necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the TeachReady AI classroom.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if we introduce new non-essential technologies with your consent. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change, and where required we will ask for fresh consent.
If you have questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at privacy@teachready.ai.
